Operations Assistant

 

Background:

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) awarded Dexis with the "Exploratory Pilot and Learning Options for Regional Efficiency” (EXPLORE) Europe Task Order. As a part of this Task Order, USAID/OTI aims to support Moldova through the Moldova Resilience Initiative (MRI), a 14-month engagement started in April 2022.

SOW Objective:

Operations Assistant will support the MRI team in Chisinau, Moldova to ensure a timely provision of administrative and logistical support to the project. Operations Assistant will report to Operations Manager and ultimately to the Chief of Party (COP) and work closely with the entire MRI team.

This is a full-time position for a period of up to 5 months.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the maintenance of the project inventory
  • Assist with the office-related procurement
  • Assist with the program-related procurement
  • Assist with travel arrangements for the MRI staff and consultants
  • Support MRI general operational and administrative needs as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or designee

Required Experience and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in public administration, business administration, or other relevant areas is required.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience (preferably at a multinational company) is required.
  • Prior experience with USAID-funded projects is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills to meet deadlines are required.
  • Upper-intermediate level in English and fluency in Romanian are required.
