Deadline Extension: Procurement of Mountaineering Equipment

Context

EU4 Moldova Resilience – Secure States, Resilient Communities (EU4MR), a 1.5 year project funded by the European Commission through the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments (FPI) and implemented by Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova (SFPL in Moldova). It is being launched as part of the European Union’s support to the Republic of Moldova in the context of the specific challenges and changing needs that the country is currently facing. The overall objective and expected outcome of the EU4MR project is to increase the resilience of the Republic of Moldova to emergencies and potential security threats. To this end, the capacities of state institutions to detect and counter potential emergencies and security threats will be strengthened. 

The purpose of this procurement is to acquire:

1. Steel Screw-Lock Carabiner – 140 Units
2. Mountaineering Helmet – 28 Units – size XL
3. Polyamide Accessory Cord 5 mm – 1 of 100 m coil and 1 of 50 m coil (together 150 m)
4. Protective Leather Gloves – 34 Pairs (14 size M, 20 size L)
5. Rope Protector – 30 Units (100 cm each)
6. Croll Lock Chest Ascender – 30 Units
7. Tandem Speed Pulley – 29 Units
8. Static Rope 11 mm – 1100 Meters
9. RIG Self-Locking Descender – 16 Units

Within the purchase call may apply legal entities who:

1. own and are able to submit a valid certificate of registration or extract for the legal entity in line with the activities outlined in the ToR;
2. have at least 2 years of demonstrated experience in supplying equipment for mountaineering, rope access, rescue, or other related technical applications, particularly in high-risk or tactical environments;
3. have collaboration with at least 2 specialized institutions, such as rescue, such as rescue services, emergency response teams, law enforcement agencies, military units, industrial rope access companies or other relevant entities;
4. offer a minimum 1-year warranty for the mountaineering equipment supplied.

The deadline for submitting applications: 12.05.2025, inclusive
