Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Officer

Your mission: You are the bridge between the market and government expectations and the company strategy in sustainability. Furthermore, you are the image of the company when it comes to both internal and external communication regarding ESG-related topics.

Job function:

• Execute ESG-related tasks for which you are the project leader; Follow up on timings and use available resources to ensure the best result;
• Support and follow up on ESG actions performed. You assist the project leaders in the execution of their tasks and ensure that hurdles are tackled;
• Manage the overall ESG action pipe-line and are responsible for following up on the KPI reporting;
• Together with the R&D Director and the Green Team, you play a key role in shaping the ESG strategy;
• You study certifications in the ESG field and apply for relevant certifications;
• You follow up on evolutions in the ESG landscape worldwide and advise actions accordingly;
• Enthusiasm to build a network within the ESG world to stay informed on upcoming changes and identify policymakers;
• You familiarize yourself with ESG efforts from competitors and relevant industry players to benchmark internal efforts;
• You manage the internal and external communication regarding ESG efforts and progress within;
• You are a motivator and involve others in changing the overall company culture towards more sustainability;
• You participate in the industry ESG events.

Your skills:

• Proven experience as a cross-functional project manager;
• Work experience in the field is considered a plus;
• Willing to undertake occasional travels.
• Excellent communication skills (writing, speaking, listening) in Romanian and English;
• Ability to work toward tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks;
• Advanced computer skills.
