The Moldova Competitiveness Project is a USAID program implemented by Chemonics International in Moldova. The goal of the MCP is to support Republic of Moldova’s efforts to promote a strong, diverse and export-oriented economy by improving competitiveness and efficiency in key Moldovan industries, namely wine production clustered with tourism, light industry (clustered textiles and apparel with footwear manufacturing), and information and communication technology (ICT) clustered with creative services and precision engineering.
Under Increased Productivity and Quality and Expanded Market Linkages, MCP is committed to support graduates of the Quality Improvement programs as well as New Generation wineries to penetrate new export markets, as such MCP plans to contract an export consulting company offering a package of services to assist a selected group of companies to enter new export markets, the package will include, but not limit to: market research and identification of potential importers, development of custom offers, contacting and keeping contact with potential exporters, organizing matchmaking events and product presentations, advice on export contract development, assisting wineries on shipments and logistics and follow up for repeat orders.
Offerors are responsible for ensuring that their offers are received by Chemonics in accordance with the instructions, terms, and conditions described in this RFQ. Failure to adhere with instructions described in this RFQ may lead to disqualification of an offer from consideration.
The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit quotations for these items.
Offer Deadline and Protocol: Offers must be received no later than 15:00 local Chisinau time on August 20, 2019 by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please reference the RFQ number (RFQ-2019-061-Mod1) in any response to this RFQ. Offers received after the specified time and date will be considered late and will be considered only at the discretion of Chemonics.
Questions: Questions regarding the technical or administrative requirements of this RFQ may be submitted no later than 15:00 local Chisinau time on August 16th by email to email@example.com. Questions must be submitted in writing; phone calls will not be accepted. Questions and requests for clarification—and the responses thereto—that Chemonics believes may be of interest to other offerors will be circulated to all RFQ recipients who have indicated an interest in bidding.
