Would you like to know how to get a research scholarship and become and international exchange student?

Come to America House to meet the American exchange scholar Alyssia Dobrescu who will share from her experience on personal and professional benefits of international education and exchange during the International Education Week.

Alyssia Dobrescu is participating in the Fulbright U.S. Student Program as a research grantee affiliated with the Moldova State University for the academic year 2019-2020.

Her research project aims to dissect the political saliency of Moldovan labor migrants. Previously employed by the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative and completed internships at the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Justice and the International Rescue Committee, Alyssia holds a B.A. in International Affairs from the George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs with concentrations in Conflict Resolution and Europe & Eurasia and a minor in French. She was also enrolled at l'Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) as an exchange student for an academic year.
