Effective Engagement of Civil Society in Development

Covers

Civil society organizations (CSOs) or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are key actors in community development - in relation to humanitarian assistance, service delivery, research and policy development, and pursuing accountability from governments and other stakeholders.
America House Chisinau invites NGO representatives, young professionals, civil servants, and university students to learn about the engagement of civil society in development processes; the roles and responsibilities of different actors in ensuring the effective engagement of CSOs.
During the course, the participants will identify practical ways in which governments, donors, and civil society can engage in community development through implementing, monitoring, and evaluating sustainable community-based programs.
This is a Coursera program offered by Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
You can find more information about it here: https://www.coursera.org/.../effective-engagement-of...
