The Moldova Competitiveness Project (MCP) is a program funded by USAID, the Swedish Government and UK aid and implemented by Chemonics International in Moldova. The goal of the MCP is to support Republic of Moldova’s efforts to promote a strong, diverse and export-oriented economy by improving competitiveness and efficiency in key Moldovan industries, namely wine production clustered with tourism, light industry (clustered textiles and apparel with footwear manufacturing), and information and communication technology (ICT) clustered with creative services and precision engineering. The purpose of this RFQ is to solicit quotations for these items.
Future Classroom Lab (FCL) is an innovative approach to teaching and learning, combining and inspirational environment with smart technology and a new teaching approach. The goal of this initiative is to modernize the educational system, improve learning outcomes and increase students’ interest in school, using various digital technologies and active learning methodologies in a student-friendly classroom.
Thirty-one schools across Moldova currently take part in the initiative, increasing access to digital education in both rural and urban areas. FCL equips Moldovan schools with market-driven, transformative learning technologies including coding platforms, robotics kits, 3D printing, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), sensors, microcomputers, digital labs, etc., and builds the capacity of teaching staff to be able to deploy this technology in their lessons. The initiative is made possible through a public-private partnership between the Government of Moldova, USAID, Sweden, UK aid, Orange Foundation, and LED.
The FCL project in Moldova is branded “Clasa Viitorului” and is using https://www.clasaviitorului.md/ as its main communication platform. This is a multi-user (multi-authors) site on WordPress CMS, with pre-moderation, centralizing the publications from all the 31 schools participating in the project (20 of which are new schools), pedagogical universities, as well as from the funding partners.
To further support the FCL project, MCP requires digital marketing services (Web content management Social Media marketing services) for the https://www.clasaviitorului.md/ website and social media pages, as detailed in the Scope of Work. The content is generated by multiple communicators designated by the partner organizations, coordinated and moderated by the service provider.
