The Centre for European Voluntary Service in Moldova is looking for a young Moldovan with a working knowledge of French for the following volunteer position in France:

Summary of this project:
Location: Franconville, France (Situation: to 15 km in the North-West of Paris) in the French department Val d’Oise (95).
Duration:6 months
Dates: 1st February - 31 July 2010
Theme: social cohesion, education, VET, work with youth with fewer oportunities
Host organization: 2 associations "Missions Locales". The Volunteer will take part in the activities and in the life of both associations.

What is a "mission locale"?
The Missions locales bring to the 16/25 year-old people a help to build a project of social and professional integration which covers all the aspects of the everyday life and to support the acquisition of tools essential to insertion.
Activities suggested for the EVS volunteer:
-French class: 4h by week
-Participation to the various workshops organized for the young people : vocational training, health counseling, discussion cafe, cultural events, "european mobility action", ''intercultural evenings"...
-Participation in a "newsletter" to speeak about interculturality
-Fight against the prejudices and discriminations through the development of a "common geographical map".
-animation, and creation of on action in the programs of European mobility and the concept of Citizenship
-Visits of cultural centers and associations about international mobility.
- evenings events with officials members of the cities, members of the team, young people

All costs are covered + monthly allowance
