Hope4: Finance and Administration Manager

Position Overview: Hope4 is seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance and Administration Manager to oversee our financial operations and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and donor regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, financial transactions, and financial controls.
- Prepare financial statements and present financial reports to the Board of Directors.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits.
- Grant Management:
- Manage grant applications, budgets, and reporting for funding opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with grant requirements and timely submission of reports.
- Monitor grant expenditures and allocations to maximize funding impact.
- Administrative Oversight:
- Oversee office operations, including procurement, facilities management, and IT systems.
- Develop and implement administrative policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Supervise administrative staff and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Manage contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development of organizational strategies and goals.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Implement effective risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Stay informed of changes in financial regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and diverse environment.
- Fluency in English and Romanian.
