Duty station: Chisinau, Moldova

Salary range: 10290 - 13710 MDL gross.

Minimum requirements: 1-2 years of general experience, experience in HR is an advantage.

Background

People in Need (PIN) is a Czech non-governmental organization that provides relief aid and development assistance while working to defend human rights and democratic freedom. It is one of the largest reliefs and development organizations in post-communist Europe and has administered projects in 37 countries over the past 30 years. Position Summary:

The Human Resources Administration Assistant (Support) duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee files to posting job ads. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives.
  • Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies).
  • Process documentation relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, performance evaluations etc.).
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, leaves, etc.).
  • Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews. 

Requirements:                                                                                                                                        

  • College diploma or University degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of general experience; experience in Human Resources is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Word/Excel; experience with MS Teams/Outlook is an advantage.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, friendly with routine and repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Romanian, Russian, English - basic proficiency.
