About the project

The project Job Orientation Training in Businesses and Schools (‘JOBS’) Moldova is co-financed by the Canton of Zurich in Switzerland and was successfully piloted in the Republic of Moldova in cooperation with three pilot schools from September 2016 until December 2017. The project will enter a development phase in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research in the Republic of Moldova this year.

The project combines the two elements labour market and schooling. In order to prepare students for their profession, activities have to start before decisions are taken. Therefore, the last years of compulsory education and of gymnasium should devote some of the time in class to the orientation towards a profession. This will help students not only to prepare for the choice of their further educational career, but also offers them access to general information about professional opportunities and a chance to acquire skills, which are useful even for those who decide to go on to university. JOBS promotes both the training of specific competences and of general life skills.

We look forward to you.

We gladly expect your complete application in English until June 17, 2018 exclusively via Email to corinna.borer@phzh.ch. Your application should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, along with anyrelevant certificates (university, school, practical experience).Your data will be processed and kept confidential by the Department IPE.
