Y-PEER Moldova, Peer to Peer Education Network, is seeking to employ an enthusiastic individual for the vacancy of Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will work closely with program staff and administrative staff at Y-PEER Moldova to assist Y-PEER programs across all departments. The job is full time and will be office based, but will also involve occasional travel throughout Moldova, as well as occasional weekend and evenings engagements. The job is offered for one year with possibility of extension. The successful candidate must be willing to learn and will be expected to share Y-PEER values and approach to programming.   • University degree in Business Administration, Social or Political Sciences, Communication, or any related fields;
  • At least two years of experience in projects management. Experience in coordinating youth led organizations, programs or projects will be an asset;
  • Good command of written English. Native level Romanian language. Russian language will be an advantage;
  • Analytical skills and proven research abilities;
  • Proven interest in youth programs, politics and education field;
  • Flexibility, team spirit, and stable temperament.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contributes to creation and sharing of knowledge by synthesizing and documenting findings and lessons learned, success stories and best practices, strategies and approaches of the Y-PEER team and drafting relevant materials for dissemination.
  • Provides inputs and assistance to the monitoring and evaluation process of programme activities by participating in field visits, review meetings and evaluation missions and providing inputs to progress and final reports.
  • Supports advocacy and resource mobilization strategy of the Reproductive Health and Youth component by compiling and synthesizing relevant background material for use in trainings, discussions and public events.
  • Supports the activity of the other colleagues in the office ensuring the programme cohesion and synergy and pursuing integrated approach in project implementation.
  • Calculates budget estimates and reconciles expenditure against budgetary allocations under work plans, displaying attention to detail in verifying financial data.
  • Archive and retrieve information for all activities in communities or in Chisinau (peer to peer trainings, information sessions, visits in communities, staff meetings, workshops, meetings with partners, etc.).
  • Review incoming and outgoing correspondence, collect and prepare necessary information for reply /action, and draft responses.
  • Performs any other activities as required.
